That’s the first lesson of video gaming shared in this entertaining and educational presentation. With a mix of research, personal experience and more you’ll learn some video game life lessons that you can apply to the classroom---and help you understand and connect with your students.

Presenter Carrie Rogers-Whitehead has written extensively about gaming in education and parenting in her 2 books on digital parenting and in articles. She believes that families and friends who game together ---argue together better. She will be joined by co-presenter, husband and fellow Gamer - Alan Valdez.
